OUR STORY
QuickDesk is a local start-up business which was borne out of a need to provide affordable work surfaces for children, students and adults.
Currently, the Coronavirus pandemic has brought about its own challenges, where our work and school environments require significant modification. And for the foreseeable future, we need to acknowledge that remote working and schooling will become the accepted “new normal.”
The world as we know it has changed, compelling us to re-evaluate the way in which we conduct our daily lives. We need to re-establish new priorities and re-imagine the world around us through unique, creative solutions. And this is where our QuickDesk products excel!

Our focus at QuickDesk is to enable businesses to survive, educational facilities to operate safely, and to promote environments which encourage good health and peace of mind on a daily basis, today and in the future.
OUR PRODUCT
The QuickDesk is manufactured from high quality double-walled corrugated cardboard, in the form of a DIY flat-pack. The desks are affordable, eco-friendly, easily assembled and sturdy.
MATERIAL
-Corrugated cardboard is a natural product made of cellulose and adhesives based on corn-wheat, deeming the QuickDesk eco-friendly and 100% recyclable once no longer in use.
-Corrugated cardboard is lighter in weight and less expensive than traditional materials such as plastic, wood, and metal.
-Our cardboard desks are manufactured locally from the highest quality double-walled corrugated cardboard available.

STRENGTH
High-quality corrugated cardboard provides the basis for stable and resistant furniture. The QuickDesk is strong enough to resist impact and vibration, taking the weight of everyday equipment, such as a laptop or computer screen and keyboard, schoolbooks and stationery, over an extended period of time.
Uniformly loaded, the QuickDesk can bear over 100kg.
FLAT-PACK DESIGN
The QuickDesk folds flat for shipping and storage purposes, saving on cost and floor space. The design is simplified for ease of assembly and function.

The QuickDesk is not meant as a long-term replacement for more permanent steel / wooden desk. It has been manufactured from cardboard with affordability, accessibility and simplicity in mind, and to accommodate the need to be replaced easily if damaged.
Cleaning: In general, cardboard can be wiped clean with a dry or slightly moistened, soft cloth, and left to air-dry.
Sanitizing: The desk can be sprayed lightly with a mist of liquid alcohol sanitizer, without damaging the cardboard.
Spillage: No need to worry if you spill your glass of water over your desk! Just dab the liquid away with a dry cloth and allow to air-dry.
High-quality double-walled corrugated cardboard provides the basis for stable and resistant furniture. It offers a good level of tolerance to general, daily wear and tear in a supervised classroom and office environment. The QuickDesk is strong enough to resist impact and vibration, and can take the weight of everyday equipment such as a laptop or computer screen, keyboard, schoolbooks and stationery.
When loaded uniformly across its surface, the QuickDesk can bear over 100kg without sustaining structural damage.
The QuickDesk is manufactured in the form of a flat-pack for ease of transport by couriers and the general public.
